Thirty years of fittings come down to seven checks: shoulders first, sit down, reach forward, and four more that tell you whether a piece needs a tailor or is ready to wear. This is that list, set in a quiet serif with a strip of tailor's tape, made to be framed or taped inside a wardrobe door where you'll see it before every shopping trip.

You get four ready-to-print sizes: 8 × 10 in (20 × 25 cm) for a standard frame, A4, A3 and 11 × 17 in (28 × 43 cm). Print it at home on heavy matte paper or take it to a print shop. The checks are the same ones on Margot's free Fitting Room Card, so the print and the card on your phone always agree.
